Our parent council is made up of a group of parents from each class, two western teachers, and two administrators. The council is action oriented, meaning they play a role in the school event planning process. We focus on building positive change that can benefit the students. The parents meet once a month, and discuss educational topics that pertain to the school.
Parent leaders communicate with their classes in group chats. Anyone is welcome to join the council. The parents are Clifford School are engaged, passionate, and care about the children. They bring a unique perspective for the school as parents as well as leaders. This helps create a community where everyone is involved to benefit student learning.
The parent council has been responsible for some exciting school-wide initiatives including reading month activities, book parties, outdoor movie nights, communication letters, and a parent-run Cultural Day Fair.
